Pre-analytical processing and preservation of patient and murine samples (blood products, bone marrow aspirates, lymph nodes, swabs, and other body fluids). Histological embedding and processing of samples for further analysis, including flow cytometry, Next Generation Sequencing (NGS), and substance screenings in cell cultures.
Our Requirements for this Position:
- Cell culture and biobanking of primary patient samples and murine samples (tissue, blood, etc.).
- Flow cytometric analysis, including independent evaluation and documentation.
- Sample preparation (e.g., DNA/RNA extraction) and associated analyses (e.g., PCR, NGS).
- Establishment and maintenance of primary cell cultures (human and mouse).
- Substance screenings in cell culture.
- Documentation, management, and meticulous archiving of samples.
- Electronic data entry of clinical data.
- Contribution to general tasks for laboratory maintenance.
- Experience in the fields of mouse models and organoids.
Your Qualifications:
- University degree in Biomedical Analytics, Biology, or a comparable field of study (minimum Bachelor’s degree).
- Knowledge of cell culture, flow cytometry, and pathological sample preparation is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office programs.
- Good command of German and English.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, flexibility, and a high sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work in a team, work independently and precisely, and a willingness to learn.
