RESPONSIBILITIES

SUPPLIER DUE DILIGENCE & ESG RISK MANAGEMENT
Lead end-to-end supplier risk assessments across environmental, social, and governance topics, strengthening due diligence approaches to ensure compliance with current and upcoming supply chain legislation while proactively identifying and mitigating risks. DATA ANALYSIS, REPORTING & INSIGHTS
Analyse ESG, supply chain, and procurement data to support sourcing decisions, cost optimisation, and risk management by developing dashboards and reports, monitoring KPIs, supporting supplier evaluations and tenders, and identifying opportunities for efficiency, compliance, and sustainability improvements. AUDITS, MONITORING & PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
Coordinate supplier audits, track risks and KPIs, and deliver clear, insight-driven reporting to stakeholders, while supporting suppliers through corrective action plans and continuous improvement initiatives across multi-region supply chains. FRAMEWORKS, POLICIES & MITIGATION STRATEGIES
Contribute to the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of supplier risk frameworks, policies, and mitigation strategies, including emissions reduction initiatives, ensuring responsible sourcing standards are embedded into supplier management and contracting.
Partner with internal teams and suppliers to close risk management gaps, enhance transparency, and drive sustainability goals and objectives, building strong relationships to support responsible, compliant growth across the supply base. STAKEHOLDER & SUPPLIER COLLABORATION

EXPERIENCE

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

3-5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, ESG/CSR, sustainability, or risk management (or a relevant sustainability degree with early career experience). Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn ESG and supply chain data into clear, practical insights for decision-making. Experience using Excel/Sheets and BI tools (such as Power BI or Tableau) to create reports and dashboards. Familiarity with supplier audits and risk platforms such as Sedex/SMETA and EcoVadis, including corrective action processes. Working knowledge of supply chain due diligence and regulations related to human rights, modern slavery, and environmental compliance (e.g., EU CSDDD, German Supply Chain Act, UK Modern Slavery Act). Good understanding of procurement processes, including sourcing, contracting, and supplier performance management. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and with suppliers. Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused, with a genuine interest in sustainability and continuous improvement. Proficient in English; German is a nice-to-have.

Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2.509 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
