Senior Research Associate - Biophysics

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

• Master’s degree in the life sciences
• Demonstrated 2–3 years of relevant experience is required
• Proven wet-lab experience, particularly in biophysical/biochemical assays
• Proficiency with MS Office and a willingness to learn new software tools
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English
• Excellent organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• A positive attitude, and strong team player mentality
• Previous experience with SPR/MST/ITC and FRET/BRET measurements is an advantage

WHAT YOUR MAIN TASKS WILL BE

• Cell line handling: Thawing, freezing, culturing, and genome engineering of mammalian cell lines, along with execution of cellular assays
• Experiment planning and execution: Designing, conducting, and analyzing experiments, with a focus on compound profiling and characterization through various cell-based and biophysical assays
• Assay development: Establishing and optimizing assays, including generating standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Documentation: Accurately recording all work processes and experimental results in accordance with internal documentation standards
• Lab equipment upkeep: Ensuring proper use, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory instruments

The minimum monthly gross salary for this position is EUR 2.633,91 based on a full-time position, which can be adjusted based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
