We are currently looking for a passionate Head of HR (f/m/x), who will be responsible for the Austrian subsidiary and lead one direct report.

YOUR FUTURE ROLE

  • Be part of the local management team reporting to the Country Manager and Cluster Head HR
  • Implement the HR strategy for the Austrian market in support of business goals
  • Provide HR strategic partnership to the Austrian General Manager and the local leadership team
  • Coordinate and supervise payroll as well as guide, train and support people managers in the annual salary planning and performance management cycle
  • Drive organizational design and development initiatives, advance the local talent and succession strategy and be the interface for employee relations
  • Implement a strategy of high performance culture, including succession planning and strengthen the talent pipeline with focus on diverse and emerging talents
  • Implement and harmonize corporate recognition programs, initiatives and local benefits
  • Provide HR leadership regarding M&A activities
  • Lead cultural change and integration process to support organizational efficiency
  • Drive organizational success through effective policies, processes, terms and conditions that attract top talent
  • Support local recruitment activities / Introduce new hires / Hold onboarding induction programs
  • Be responsible for administrative and operational HR work such as contract management, management of the fleet, health & safety topics, GDPR activities
  • Manage Works Council relations


JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • University degree and 8-10 years of experience as HRBP or HR generalist in a global and highly matrixed organization
  • Demonstrated experience in all aspects of HR including total rewards, talent management, recruitment, employee relations, change management, organizational effectiveness and local labor law
  • Experience in developing guidelines and training concepts, linking global processes and initiatives to local needs
  • Strong communication, partnering and negotiation skills – ability to influence, coach and support strategic issues and agendas
  • Corporate mindset with a track record of achieving results
  • Proven interest in progressive HR practices, trends and legal changes
  • High-energy working style with passion and proactive and pragmatic approaches
  • Must be comfortable working in an English-speaking business environment. Fluency in German is a must

The annual gross salary for this position starts at € 85,000 with an additional performance-related bonus as well as a company car and a willingness to overpay according to your qualifications and experience.
