FEMtech Livestock research Internship

These are the tasks we trust in you:

• Collaborate in the development of veterinary research to the production of novel veterinary products 
• Support our R+D team in designing and conducting experiments
• Carry out lab and animal experiments independently or with support
• Bring in your own ideas for improving processes
• Document experimental results and write reports

For this internship, it requires the following:

• You study at an Austrian university (veterinary medicine, livestock production, biotechnology or a related field), at least one semester already completed
• Experience on working with animals is recommended
• Very good knowledge of spoken and written English
• Self-motivated, with a ‘can-do’ attitude

What else to know?

• The internship will be supported by the FEMTech program, specifically targeting female students
• You are located in 3130 Herzogenburg, near St. Pölten (Austria)
• We appreciate your expertise for 28,5 hours/week, part-time, temporary contract
• The internship will start in May or June 2024, duration 4-6 months, depending on your availability
• Based on your experience and your qualification, we offer you a compensation package from € 1 460 gross monthly base salary
