We are currently hiring for a Portfolio Manager Oncology & Speciality Care (all genders) on a full-time basis for our Vienna office.


  • Collect and identify customer insights and undertake market analysis for a broad understanding of the market landscape, customers and competitors in key therapeutic areas
  • Develop and execute an omnichannel marketing strategy based on customer and market insights
  • Create tactical plans and customer journey driven omnichannel campaigns, leveraging a significant proportion of digital marketing in line with the portfolio strategy
  • Develop and deliver brand communication assets, campaigns and key solutions for different target groups and personas
  • Clear understanding of the disease environment and closely monitoring of environmental changes and competitor activities in order to adjust plans and tactics
  • Forecasting, risk profiling & tracking of product sales and expenses, managing promotional budgets
  • Creation of launch project plans and implementation for launch activities
  • Lead cross-functional commercial initiatives supported by an effective networking with the Takeda Market Access Team, Brand Team, Medical Department, respective KAMs, Commercial Excellence Team and other relevant stakeholders
  • High interest and ability to establish and use agile ways of working in teams
  • Facilitate innovative thinking, experimenting and creative solution-oriented approaches
  • Close Collaboration and engagement with Key Scientific Leaders to develop and implement customer initiatives and services

Qualifications & mindset

  • University Degree or equivalent qualifications, preferably in business or life sciences (for example: pharmacy, medicine biology, biochemistry)
  • Show a higher level of creative ability
  • Love to be inspired by and encourage others
  • Open to embrace new challenges and view new topics as a learning opportunity
  • Commercial/marketing/brand manager experience (preferably pharmaceutical industry and healthcare), product launch experience is a plus
  • Marketing skills to deploy digital channels and assets
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience of agile ways of working is an advantage
  • Proven track record of leading complex projects that involves multiple stakeholders and functions to engage different customer types
  • Fluency in English and German

Motivated employees must be remunerated appropriately. The minimum salary for this important position is € 4.500 gross per month (full time, collective wage agreement for the chemical industry). The actual remuneration package will be guided by your professional experience and your qualifications, so increased payment is possible.
