Job Description
About the role:
As a Supply Chain Lead you oversee your product portfolio of plasma-derived therapies from a demand, supply and inventory perspective and thereby drive the business forward in line with its strategic goals. You are the main point of contact from the Plasma Operations Supply Chain for any demand related topics and strive for understanding of the market behavior through communication with regional supply chain and business unit counterparts.
How you will contribute:
Oversee the supply and inventory situation in collaboration with the site supply planning teams for the short-term view and with the master planner for the mid-term view
Forecast alignment with respective business function and Regional/Local Supply Chain teams
Aggregation and propagation of demand to assure consistent input to the master planning process
Provide information about supply constraints and issue resolution to the impacted markets via the supply disruption notification process
Together with local site supply chain teams monitor and highlight any inventory at risk in the LOCs and ensures action plans are in place
Participate in projects to ensure long term market supply, support launch management activities as needed and support the lifecycle management of existing products
Support usage and implementation of globally harmonized planning processes
What you bring to Takeda:
Education in business administration or similar, preferably with a focus on Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or any other related fields (or several years proven practical experience)
Experience in working in an international matrix organization
Experience in the use of supply chain planning tools (SAP IBP, Kinaxis Rapid Response), MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Data Reporting tools (Qlik, Power BI)
Strong leadership and networking skills
Outstanding written, oral communication and presentation skills
German and English (excellent), additional languages appreciated
