Job Description
About the role:
In this role you will plan, execute and lead big feasibility and concept studies for the innovative and integrative process and plant development, in the field of teardown and fractionation.
You will define the lifecycle strategies of the process equipment referring to the Vienna Site overall strategy.
You will drive the implementation of state-of-the-art manufacturing assets and platforms and other technology trends according to Pharma 4.0.
You ensure, that cGMPs and EHS compliance company procedures and good engineering practices are appropriately embedded in those activities.
How you will contribute:
Develop and implement high-end strategic plans based on the capacity planning for the unit by using state-of-the-art and upcoming technology standards
Develop solutions to complex technical problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity
Create feasibility and concept studies, mainly for the teardown and fractionation process equipment
Define all deliverables including milestones scheduling, financial performance, quality and EHS aspects
Provide support to all phases of the project, including construction, commissioning qualification and ramp up for the area of responsibility
Lead design and phase gate reviews for concept, basic and detail designs with external vendors
Connect to local and international networks, innovation forums and/or groups to share knowledge and best practices
Develop and implement procedures and service level agreements
Lead cross-functional teams to optimize results
What you bring to Takeda:
Strong process engineering skills based on a sound engineering education and scientific principles, preferably with a biotechnology foundation
Long-term experience in defining pre-conceptual, conceptual, basic and detail designs
Experience in capital project management
Ability to influence outside of immediate scope of responsibility
Understanding of the current market situation to anticipate changes which might influence future investment strategy
Proven track record of management & leadership effectiveness
Strong communication skills in German and English
Organizational talent and good analytical skills
A Personality, acting with respect and integrity

A competitive remuneration package with a minimum salary of € 4.751,91 gross per month (full-time, collective wage agreement for the chemical industry) - the actual salary depends on your professional experience and qualifications.
