Job Description

About the role:

You will be working as part of the analytical method lifecycle team but strongly connected with the chromatography lab. You will be responsible to develop/adapt a HPLC method to determine amino acids and to fully validate that method in a full-GMP environment

How you will contribute:

  • Develop a HPLC method to quantitatively determine amino acids in a complex protein matrix with support of the analytical method lifecycle and QC lab sub-teams

  • Execute experiments in the chromatography lab and document the optimized method in a development report

  • Assure GMP compliant and timely execution of QC method validation for QC analysis (release, stability)

  • Provide method validation protocols and reports with accompanying method lifecycle tasks (SST, assay control implementation)

  • Support analytical laboratory investigations during method validation

  • Manage activities to support project milestones

  • Support and collaborate with the project management team and other internal departments

  • This is a temporary position for 12 months

  • This Expert role is very communicative and requests a good command of German and English

What you bring to Takeda:

  • Natural sciences background (analytical chemistry, pharmacy, technical chemistry, molecular biology, etc.)

  • Hands-on experience with analytical method development and validations, especially HPLC-methods within GMP environment

  • Knowledgeable with amino acid analysis in conjunction with online derivatization using HPLC-UV

  • Experience with Chromeleon 7.2. or higher

  • Statistical knowledge and expertise in data analysis

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements concerning analytical test methods (ICH/EP/USP/JP)

  • Good IT-skills (MS Office, MS Teams, Minitab)

  • Fluency in German and English is mandatory

  • Technical writing skills in English

  • Analytical thinking and continuous improvement mindset

  • Target-oriented team-player with high level of independency
