Boehringer Ingelheim RCV is home to Boehringer Ingelheim’s Regional Center Vienna. Within the RCV the Department Commercial Quality RCV is responsible for implementing and maintaining Quality Management Systems covering GDP aspects in Austria, Switzerland and Central and Eastern European countries. This position can either be a full-time or-part-time employment, depending on one’s preference.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support the maintenance and development of a regional quality management system covering GDP (Good Distribution Practice) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) aspects
  • Establish a regional GDP release process and release products for market supply
  • Monitor and evaluate changes in regulations and legislations concerning GDP
  • Support authority inspections in the RCV countries and perform internal audits and supplier audits at GDP supplier (e.g. warehouses and freight forwarders)
  • Provide quality support to local quality units in the region


  • Degree in natural sciences and a minimum of 1 year experience in quality management
  • Knowledge of international regulations/guidelines concerning GDP/GMP and Quality Assurance
  • Verbal and written fluency in both German and English
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, assertiveness, decision-making ability
  • Fondness for precise and careful work, profound communication skills
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 5-10%)

For this position we offer an interesting salary package considering your expertise and personal competencies as well as your professional experience. We are obliged by law to state the minimum salary according to the collective agreement, which amounts to € 36,433.04 gross per year (full-time) for this position, whereby an overpayment is possible.
