The research group of Robert Kralovics at CeMM is seeking two enthusiastic technical assistants eager to contribute to cutting-edge research in the field of cancer immunotherapy for the treatment of hematological malignancies. The selected candidates will be joining two different projects: one in the Kralovics Laboratory at CeMM, the other at MyeloPro www.myelopro.com, a start-up biotech company, recently founded by Robert Kralovics and located in the same building.

Requirements and desired qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in life sciences
  • Prior laboratory experience
  • Strong interest in immunology, genetics, cancer
  • Interest in working with mouse models
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • High accuracy and reliability
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and passion for working in an international environment
  • Solid written and oral communication skills in English

While one available project will be centered on developing antibodies selectively targeting cancer cells and on generating sensitive ELISA assays, the other project will have a focus on protein-based assays (Western-Blots etc.), FACS analysis, drug screening and next generation sequencing. Both positions involve responsibilities in cell culture (maintenance, manipulation via genome engineering) and mouse work (including breeding management and genotyping).
